they are not living under the same roof anymore, so, working with the wt's teachings the father don't speak to the daed person.
but he still continues to see the child regularly, going to the movies, eating at restaurants and sitting besides each other at family barbecues and gatterings.

How many x-jw's have lost custody of their children?

i live in australia, and left the "truth" and my husband for good at the end of 2004. we have two young children together.
3 years prior, i began studying at university and gained full-time employment.

Hang around on the internet and checkout all the other JW sites, you'll find many sad stories like yours. There's not much you can do when a whole organisation is against you, at least its nice to see you've pick yourself up and seen the truth about the WTS and lost the guilt that they put on you, all you can do now is wait, take a bit of comfort knowing that you are just one of many victims not just of the WTS but of ALL these false religions that distroy people's lives, not just nowadays but threw out histroy, God Jehovah will distroy all the false religions that have cause misery and bloodshed, and the WTS is one of them.

yes he can be DFed. Firstly he is still assocating with him, they apply they verse "should even eat with such man", and also you can be DFed for "conduct not becoming of a christain", so really if you don't listen to the elders and piss them off, they can DF you for anything.

The truth is that most JW’s are not happy. They are TOLD that they are happy, and they tell themselves that they are happy, but once you get to know them personally and they start to have confidence in you and they can trust you and you won’t tell on the elders, they’ll open up and the real truth comes out, I’ve being so surprised that so many that look so happy and stable are actually unhappy and many are on anti-depressives and have emotional problems up to their ears!.

As far as I know the SDA don't have too many '"wacky" beliefs, they believe in the usual things that most Christian religions believe eg. The Trinity, but what I think sets them apart is that they make a big thing about keeping the Sabbath Day, Saturday. I think they also believe in a 1,000 years kingdom of some kind.

With all this sex and nudity flying in the face of every man (and woman) how can anyone be so hard towards a guy who’s looking at porn. Its an effect to avoid it, after all, we’re all normal, I drive in the car and I see a Bill Board for a brothel and a sexy woman saying “You got the urge?”. I watch porn like any one else, but I keep it to myself.

What are the new release's for the 2006 conventions?

isn't it stupid how some of them actually think they're more spiritual just because they know the new relelases before others, what a joke!.

i did not hear this myself from a speaker but got it second hand, and those who are faithful believe it.. so far 350 have been asked to leave, one couple with as much as 30 years full time service with most of it at bethel.. oc

Can you imagine after 30 years of service being asked to leave! what would you do on the outside? they would have no useful trade, no savings, and too old to start over, thank you WTS.
